It's been awhile since a book hit me as much as this one did. I may have just been extremely tired when I finished it, but somehow I think the tears that threatened to spring from my eyes were down to the beauty of this writing.
Chambers wrote a book that celebrates science and space. There's no interstellar wars, no colonization projects, no meaningless drama just to "build character." Instead this is a little book that celebrates the wonder of science and discovery and it's perfect.
