I really enjoyed myself reading this!!!

The world-building in this book is definitely different from all the other fantasy books that I've read and I love it! I like how it's mixed with modern world elements as well as fantasy elements!! I didn't necessarily think the book was slow, I know people complain about it, but I felt like the complexities of the characters + the characters' dynamics made it worthwhile!

I loved ALL the characters (except for Callum and someone else, you'll find out later). My Nicolibby needs to happen in the second book and it needs to happen now!!

I would say if you want to read this book, be warned, it gets into a lot of philosophy and science and if those don't interest you, I don't recommend.
