This is probably too persnickety for a 12 page popup book. But if you have a framing device like "chasing my runaway cat" why have the settings be locations no cat could feasibly reach (and even the human owner could not without several days and 10k of yen)? Why not just do a famous sites of Japan popup without the "plot" or alternatively, do a closeup like "my cat explores Himeji Castle"
