by default, this gets one star because it is a dnf

i cannot get into this to save me. the concept of this series sounds amazing but the writing is so bland. it sounds like someone is telling me the story. i’m not there——and i have no desire to be.

i know so many people enjoy this, even the friend who recommended it to me but DAMN.

there’s too many things i want to read, i’m not going to waste my time on this or other things i’m not feeling.
