By Any Other Name by Jodi Picoult

This was a brilliant, beautiful, and feminist book that I could have read forever. I really enjoyed Melina's story, but Emilia captured my attention and I cared about her as a fully-formed character. This definitely feels slightly different from Picoult's other work in that it's not quite as fast paced or thriller-ish, but I enjoyed every second I spent in this world. I don't know a lot about Shakespeare, and I do think that people much more familiar with his (??) work will pick up on more things than I did and have an additional layer of enjoyment, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment.
