Was so excited about this book. Minneapolis and Faeries? Sounds amazing! Sadly the execution was not good. Terrible writing. Boring characters (except for the pouka. He was cool). Why is the MC casually making a band when she's about to be the mediator during a faery war? So much could be cut out. 
"Carla's dark eyes went very wide". Please just write "Carla's eyes widened".
