“Elle loved herself, but what a feeling it must be, being loved by someone else exactly as you are, quirks and warts and all.”

Two girls go on a date, it ends horribly but one of them lied to their brother and said it went great. They fake date, and that's where the story begins. The growth of the relationship between Darcy and Elle is done wonderfully, but the ending left a lot of open ends. Elle falls hard, and fast, and she's a whimsical mess. Darcy’s been hurt and has walls up that Elle has to get down in order for their relationship to progress.
