Don't read this as a standalone book. It follows the story from MCR's album Danger Days: True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys. It continues where the music videos for Na Na Na & Sing leave off. If the reader isn't already familiar with the world of the Killjoys in California 2019, it's definitely a confusing read.
