To Your Eternity, Volume 1 by Yoshitoki Oima

5.0

The way Oima Yoshitoki's brain works is insane.

In a nutshell, the storyline of To Your Eternity (Fumetsu no Anata e) revolves around an undying being later called Fushi (literally means "unable to die") who learns many things, knowledge, emotions, and the fleeting life of practically other living beings on earth because it is created to 'preserve' things.

This means the readers are gonna see SO MANY deaths (since no one stays alive forever but Fushi), but the depiction of life here is just magnificently beautiful.
You, as a reader, for better or worse, are going TO CARE for each character because they are just too wholesome.

I bawled my eyes out and drenched my pillows in tears.

This is a long, (currently still) ongoing series, so I won't write reviews for each volume.
However, I just want to say that To Your Eternity is a solid five-star to me.
