- August!!!! He was truly the star of the show, this is a dual pov story and his one liners had me weak in the knees yes yes! His core character was fantastic, he went thru trials and obstacles but never gave up on his woman and his family and what his end goal was. I really loved his character arc!
- Iris baby, she went thru everything on the block and I hope and pray that whomever truly is giving thru this experience is able to find the help and clarity to escape. And for those who have escaped, I hope and pray for your healing! The way she fought for not only herself but also her daughter, was completely heart breaking and very difficult to read.
