The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
5.0
When you enter into any John Green novel it's best to have a decent supply of tissues on hand and "The Fault in Our Stars" was no exception. Although I've never seen the movie, I knew enough about this book to know the general plot but that didn't make it any less captivating. I was hooked on the very page and was quickly caught up in all the emotions of the characters and fully invested in their storylines. Green makes it clear this book is a work of fiction but still does an absolutely amazing job of making it as realistic of an experience as possible. He inserts enough real life and raw emotion that you're left feeling as if the story is very much real. Despite the depressing overtone, it was a very enjoyable read and I cam definitely see myself picking it up again in the future!
