This series is so beautifully written, the main characters are endearing and the world is so interesting and it keeps expanding in intriguing directions as the books go on. This particular book does a great job of talking about grief and the role of stories in remembering those who are gone, about going back to a home that is not exactly as you remembered it when you have changed as well, and about how a person's life is made of a multitude of stories and one single story can never represent the entirety of who they are.
