This book took me by complete surprise. I went into this book completely blind and was expecting another fun enemies to lovers rom com but this book is truly so much more than that. We have Liya, a strong and fierce MC that is not afraid to speak up for herself and her friends. And that's why people in her community don't necessarily like her. Jay is the perfect man and even though Liya does her best to push him away, he doesn't let her. The way that he cares for people and gives everyone a fair chance is just *chef's kiss* I could really go on and on about this book, I think everyone needs to read this one!
