"For one live organism to continue to exist, another live organism must stop existing all together. The House sat, waiting for its girls."
Tell Me I'm Worthless by Alison Rumfitt was my pick for the #transrightsreadathon, and am I ever glad I finally picked it up.
I'm not going to try to describe it. It's a haunted house story at the base, but with flawed and damaged inhabitants. The story of Alice, Ila, Hannah and the House - Albion - is raw, with at times brutal and graphic imagery.
I expect I won't get it out of my head anytime soon.
"Before the House was built, it existed."
 Horror lovers - recommended!
