I didn’t like this second installment quite as much as the previous book, but I knew that would be the case. I’m still very much invested in these characters and the overall political intrigue. Lia is such an interesting and dynamic heroine, especially in contrast to a lot of her YA fantasy counterparts. I’m curious to see how things will resolve in the final book!
