utterly brilliant. the best fantasy I’ve read since I was a kid & enamored with Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, the hunger games & the likes. incredibly written which isn’t at all a surprise to me considering Yarros’s book, “The Things We Leave Unfinished” is one of my favorite books ever. I have certifiably absolute favorite author who flawlessly writes across genres…the Taylor swift of writing one may say. 

I’m just in awe of this to be honest. Every bit worth the hype. Other fantasy authors need to take notes. Having just come off acotar, it was so difficult for me with the first book & all the world building & slow pace before we got into the action. Fourth Wing doesn’t miss a beat & unveils information for you to understand their world as the story is unfolding right in the middle of the action. I loved it. The dragons, the characters, the love story…wOw.

The cliff hanger was perfect but truly Yarros’s other book also left me with my jaw on the floor so again not surprised, just entirely delighted. The second one will be out in November so it’ll be a happy birthday to me & i cannot waIT
