⠀⠀i did really enjoy this. i was always entertained and did constantly want to read it. i really like the world & all of the grisha lore, although i found the world building a bit boring at times. there were other (short lived moments) where i felt my eyes glaze over a bit, but they didn’t really impact my over all enjoyment. i don’t necessarily agree with some of the plot events... like mal? i understand how leigh bardugo set up for a romance but there was no chemistry and not enough build for me to believe anything. i get the were besties as kids but .... i thought the were brother & sister (unspoken or not) for way too long.
