goodreads asking if I want to give this cursed book 5 stars right off the bat is absolutely batshit insane. 2 stars is me being nice to the thing.
I am here taking a break from my damned essay due in an hour which I am not prepared for at all! because I. do. not. understand. this. book. it makes no sense! why were you written!
Now I will admit that I didn't even get to finish this abomination because I needed to write the essay and honestly it made me want to drop out of my literature minor classes. I literally read one of the most triggering books last year and this was somehow worse than that.
I even had to listen to this via audiobook because reading it took me so long. I don't like audiobooks nor have I ever listened to one past the first chapter before! It was gross I couldnt wear headphones and I had to read alongside it anyway to get any sort of understanding.
Nelly was this stupid things saving grace because I could not understand anything other than her ripping into all the other characters for being dumb. thats all
