Excellent! 
I can see how this would have been an excellent play and I’m quite sad to have missed it. 
The westernized names for the elders did throw me off at the beginning but I got around to it. 

Historical fiction always throws me off, because I so badly want history to rewrite itself. I obviously knew the ending and I couldn’t help but hope it would be different. 

Every day I think of the earth, I am so angry at all that we take from it and how we should all be adopting more from the indigenous people. 

This book definitely makes me want to read from more indigenous Australian authors.
