Thus begins the next arc of the story. Of course, we get some more breathable, comic-relief scenes, which are very much appreciated. The introduction of the Byakko clan, both the older one and the newer one, was an interesting link to where Kyutaro and Fumi are headed next. The new characters are also introduced in the typical way for this mangaka -- they just kind of roll up and cause a boatload of chaos before actually laying out their purpose for being there. The world is also expanding in an interesting way, and I love the concept of the Seichi as a rainfall of memories and trees that can talk and guide those in tune with them.
