Night Pleasures by Sherrilyn Kenyon

This had more than it's fair share of cheesy, eye roll inducing moments but it was a fun, fast read for what it was worth. Mind you, I got this for free so...

My one big criticism of it was that it was unclear at the beginning whether or not her family's eccentricities and their supposed mysticism were real or whether they were just crackpots. As you read along, it turns out that they were supposed to be real, so considering that, I think the initial set-up for the storyline should have been a bit more extensive. Eventually I just gave up on trying to make sense of everything and just went with it which was for the best. I think that's easier to do though when you haven't made any investment :p
