I really enjoyed reading this book and I thought about it some when not reading. A future human journey on another planet that follows two key characters (although I feel it is more about Sophie). The feelings and character of Sophie were very clearly written and she indeed made me angry with some of her decisions. Co-dependency flourishes in the future too. It’s a science fiction book, and no magic, but has some fantastical elements. Creative and unique world building.
