I read a few of this series way back when but never finished it, and I’d like to, but after rereading the few I had read. Noting this, I rated it 4 stars back then but I’m dropping my rating to 2. I wonder if this is why I stopped reading the series…I was pretty bored through most of it, sometimes skimming altogether. The love is pretty quick on both sides. I love the world the author created but this isn’t a book that hits with me. I might try book 2 as well before calling it quits on the series.
