Bant. I absolutely adored him, and I won’t lie; it never occurred to me that I would from the glimpses we got of him in the first two books. He was kind and genuine (when he was ready to be) and heartfelt, and I melted!

I really enjoyed Bant and Imogen’s slow spiral into their relationship. I liked that when Bant knew he felt more for her than physical attraction, he flipped a switch and actually TRIED. It made him so endearing.

On the flip side, the miscommunication and forced separations were both a little too much for my taste. Neither one had a good excuse for that third act break up. Imogen specifically, who honestly fell a little flat for me in this book. The self sabotage was laid on pretty thick, and I wish we’d focused less on that and more on their time together (which I thought a lot of took place off page). I did appreciate that Bant made Imogen work for it a bit at the end. I’m a sucker for a good grovel.

At the end of the day, this is a must read for Bant’s book boyfriend status alone. He deserves the world.
