This could have been a duology instead of 4 books. The series as a whole left a lot to be desired. I felt the ending was rushed and there was so much more that could have been added to make the adventure complete. There were things that were brought up in the series that felt like they were meant to be more that were never mentioned again. The mmc seemed more frustrated with the fmc the entire time instead of the “pining” that was described in his pov. His arrogance and his emotional walls made me wonder how she felt anything for him. Might have been Stockholm Syndrome I did enjoy the mixture of povs.
