I'm glad I found while browsing several pages in the library's website after typing "lesbian comics" into the search bar. This is an interesting sapphic reimagining of Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein. Violet is a student at a university in Ingolstadt. When her friend Henry introduces her to his sister Aveline, the two women bond over their interest in anatomy and the occult. They form a close friendship which then turns into romance. Unfortunately, Aveline gets sick and dies. Violet is unwilling to accept it and uses her scientific knowledge brings Aveline back to life. Just like Victor in the original novel, Violet realizes what a huge mistake she made. While this is only 88 pages, it is worth checking out. With some exceptions such as Aveline's makeup and Violet blushing, the art is all black and white, which in my opinion does an excellent job at capturing the gothic vibes of this graphic novel.
