Wonderful book. Well researched, written with such an obvious love and fascination with the natural world. I haven't spent much time meditating upon how other animals view the world, even though I've certainly thought about what life must be like for them. But isn't their umwelt more or less everything for them? Just like it is for us. 

The diversity and insanity of animals is just so rewarding to read about. A beautiful, impossible world that we need to protect.
