Wow. I thought I would like The Martian, but I absolutely loved it! Watney is such an amazing character, the plot intriguing and the idea thought provoking. I´m really interested in space and science and it´s been way too long since I´ve read science fiction. At some points the science felt a little overwhelming, even though it was explained in a way that it was easy to understand. But it just made the book seem more realistic in my opinion. And Watney´s humor was always there to lighten things up. Being the only person in a whole planet put loneliness in a whole new perspective and Watney´s way to handle it is just admirable. I´m so exited to see the movie, the trailer looks incredible!
