Four Eids and a Funeral by Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé, Adiba Jaigirdar

4.0

OH HOW CUTE! I’m a firm believer of enemies to lovers in YA it just makes so much sense and never fails me. After growing up together, Said and Tiwa, grow apart but now after Said comes back for the summer from boarding school the two supposed “enemies” always find their way back to each other. This was just such a fun read like some books just have that spark when immediately you know this is going to be good. Said and Tiwa had such good banter and I loved how even though they tried to deny it how much they enjoyed each other’s company. I loved how this book was set up with the flashbacks of the different eids to see the history between Said and Tiwa. The romance was just simply too adorable.
