This novel started off promising but ultimately failed to hold my interest. If you're seeking a book packed with spice, this might be the perfect fit for you. However, I personally need a solid plot to balance the heat, and sadly, this one fell short.

Our female lead, Amelia Valente (Mimi), withholds a crucial detail about her life for so long that it left me frustrated to the point of tears. Meanwhile, our male lead, Leif Whittington, deserves better than that.

Although the narrators did a good job overall, following the dialogue was occasionally challenging.
