Gods & Monsters by Shelby Mahurin
3.0
This series had its ups and downs for me. I had absolutely loved Serpent & Dove, really disliked Blood & Honey, but still wanted to give this one a shot. Now I’m still torn over my overall thoughts of the trilogy.
Gods & Monsters makes up for some of the faults of Blood & Honey, but it’s still a mess. Admittedly it was a quick read for me, despite the page count, but that goes more into the fact that I was speed reading or skimming at certain points just because I wanted to get through some of the more laborious parts. While I disliked the journey there, I am satisfied enough with the ending.
