This book was so good and from the very first page I was instantly hooked, Catherine Cowles never disappoints and All The Missing Pieces has now become one of my favourite standalones.
The mix of romance, suspense and such an emotional storyline completely gripped me it was so heartbreaking. One of the things I love about Catherine’s books is how relatable her characters are and Ridley has become one of my favourite fmcs, you can’t help but root for her and the dedication she has for her true crime podcast..I felt everything she goes through from her passion, emotions, to her pain and her resilience to find the truth and bring closure to the loved ones even though she is going through her own painful traumatic past.
Then there’s Colt at first he’s a jerk, he’s gruff and hard-headed and treats Ridley horribly from the start but when you learn why he’s like he is and the struggles and pain he has been through and still going through you see why he is like his is and why Ridley is the Choas in his life for she pulls him back into the light and slowly helps him heal. Their relationship wasn’t just about romance, it was about healing, learning to lean on someone else and about finding love when things are tough.
The suspense added with the twists and turns were so good and again totally unexpected especially when it came to who the villain was. Highly recommend!
