This book was a PAGE TURNER!! I was thoroughly entertained & didn’t want to put the book down. I’m a neuroscience grad student myself & while the author does take some scientific liberties (which she states herself & makes perfect sense - this is a piece of fiction after all), I thought the merging of science & dark creativity was really well done. I also appreciated the little nod to the iconic Tofino tacofino truck at the end of the book. Anyway, I ate this up in just over 24 hours & it was the perfect thriller/sci-fi/romance/psychological mash-up. Slump = cured.
