This had some of the most contrived of will they won't they I've ever read. The why they won't didn't hold up, and there's a big difference between a first kiss being interrupted and laying on top of each other naked and nothing happening. Over, and over, and over again. There's also this major murder subplot that's pretending to be the plot plot, and it's not good at all. They finally (FINALLY) sealed the deal and I still had two thirds of the book left and no idea how it could manage to carry on that long. Should have given up on it sooner.
