Everything here wrapped up pretty nicely. I did feel the main murder mystery as sidelined most of the time and almost felt like an after thought. I feel like this last book could have done without the murder and just kept to the ongoing subplot. It was mostly the main plot of this book.

We had a bunch of new characters introduced here and frankly I would have enjoyed having the royals be part of the series all along. It also felt like I was missing something, like the royals were part of another series by the author. Not sure if I will look for it as I am underwhelmed by this series as a whole.

I did indeed enjoy the series as a whole but it was not a love fest. Worth the read if you are looking for a cozy that isn’t too taxing.
