After You by Jojo Moyes
5.0
Jojo Moyes does it again. She picks up 18 months after the end of Me Before You with Louisa Clark living in London.
I'm so glad she returned to Louisa. I had forgotten how much I LOVED that character. She's a bloody mess but she's so real to me. (Maybe it helps that I can totally see her as Emilia Clarke who is going to play her in the movie. ) Crazy things happen to this girl but it doesn't seem ludicrous for some reason. Like all Moyes novels, the best of this book is rooted in the emotions that you feel through all sorts of relationships. If you liked Me Before You, you won't be disappointed with After You.
