fav character: Carla
fav quote: “One day, someone will look too close. They'll pull back the curtain, find a list of every terrible, selfish thing I've ever done, and it will ruin me. They'll turn on me eventually, I think, and it'll be my fault for wanting too much. But now, sitting together on the porch under a sky that's too blue and a sun too perfect to be real, I think the only thing I've ever really wanted was more time.”

this book broke my heart. it has elements of the seven husbands of evelyn hugo and  daisy jones and the six in a way. there is a scavenger hunt, loss, love, hurt, and boy do i feel all of those.
i am never a big fan of very present day plots including social media in the plot but this book was written so well and everything had its place.
i am so hurt but i loved this so much
