I understand the hype around this book now. It’s the greatest book to ever be booked in book existence. I cannot put into words just how incredible reading this is. The story is both so intelligent and humorous, the characters are lovely and real, and there were times where I could not stop smiling. My expectations were relatively high going in but this book knocked them completely out of the park. My heart positively SWELLS for all these characters, and it personally has some of my most favorite tropes of all time wrapped up into one “big gay blanket,” as V.E. Schwab said. Everyone should read this immediately. And I mean IMMEDIATELY. Go buy a copy (or four) right now.
