The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt

5.0

I can't stop thinking about this book. Through the first half I was mainly wondering where this story was going to go. Not boring, or slow, but just... meandering through Theo's teen years in the aftermath of tragedy and not ideal circumstances. But the second half seemed to just speed by and I could not wait to find out what was going to happen next. I could have read about Theo (and Hobie, Boris, Pippa, etc.) for another 700 pages, though the ending was pretty darn perfect--I even shed some tears. Donna Tartt is three for three! I have loved them all!
