I'm Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy

dark emotional hopeful reflective sad medium-paced

4.5

Although I've seen a handful of iCarly episodes, there's no need to be familiar with the show to appreciate this memoir—it's a very harrowing account of child stardom and child abuse. Jennette McCurdy's writing is insightful, precise, both funny and devastating (sometimes at the same time). Highly recommend the audiobook, read by Jennette herself.
