I've been wanting to start this series for a while and I am glad that I finally did. Though it wasn't the absolute best, it was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it. I really liked Merit and her snarky mouth. I liked the fact that she was a grad student word nerd, and not someone who was out looking to become a vampire, it somehow made her more likable. I am looking forward to more of her badassery and shenanigans, and curious about the mystery around her. Even though, I am sure that she will one day end up with Ethan, I am hoping that it is a long way off. I don't like Ethan, as a character or as a possible love interest. But maybe that will change over time.
