The Life Impossible by Matt Haig
2.0
Disappointed. Could be because of my high expectations or because of my mood during this time of year but the storyline just didn't grab me like all Haig's other novels do.
I like the short chapters but the fact that there's no pattern in the length of the chapters really bothered me. It works in his Comfort Book but for a novel, I don't really like it.
I appreciate the message he wants to send with this book but I feel like it becomes cliché after a while, because of the repetitive nature and the ridiculous characters. The ending felt quite predictable and unoriginal as well.
Book club meeting later, looking forward to hearing what everyone else thought.
