Em Hen does not disappoint literally EVER!!! This had found family, a ton of emotional damage, platonic soulmates, romantic soulmates and so much more. I loved the alternating timelines. I loved the idea of a happy place, but it was really how you feel when you're with certain people and the place doesn't matter so much. This book broke me and I was fully expecting it too. I thought it was so raw and vulnerable and there was so much healing that happened over the course of the story. the conversations felt so honest and I was really pulled into each of the narratives. Harriet and Wyn were such a perfect example of the second chance trope and I loved them both. I thought the Maine setting was light and fun and helped balanced out some of the heavy emotions. Wyn is a g-dm masterpiece and I couldn't get enough of him. Anything he said I wanted to bottle up and keep forever. I also loved how important friendship was to the story and how people grow and change, but still mean the same to you as always. Truly an excellent book and I won't be over this one anytime soon.
