A Merry Little Murder Plot by Jenn McKinlay
5.0
A perfect Christmas cozy, this book had such a festive atmosphere between the ugly sweater contest, the adorable lit up town square, and all the other holiday activities going on. I would LOVE to visit Briar Creek during Christmastime and enjoy all the small town feels. Of course, a murder is not a greatttttt way to celebrate the holidays, but at least Lindsay and the team were on it! The idea of an author in residence is so interesting and of course all the drama it brought made for an exciting book. I was SHOCKED by the ending and loved seeing Robbie and Emma and how their relationship is growing. I always enjoy time with these characters that feel like friends at this point! Ohhh and the book discusses book banning and I love that it showcases all the downfalls of book banning and how harmful it can be.
Note: I listened to the audiobook and loved it!
