Emotionally devastated. Every character feels like a cautionary tale in ways I hugely appreciate. There were just a few moments when something didn't *quite* add up - this was way better than your standard low empathy "villain", but sometimes with Eli that just went a little far for me. If it stayed in each character's POV a little longer I think that'd sort itself out
