Joanna moves with her son Alfie to a quiet seaside town where she grew up. Rumor has it that there is a killer who committed a brutal crime as a child, now residing in the same town. Everyone becomes a suspect as Joanna and Alfie's father (who is a reporter) become completely wrapped up in discovering who the killer is.

Really enjoyed this one! I kept thinking I had it figured out but there are many twists near the ending when everything is coming to an end, and then a final twist on the final page of the book.
