I must say I’m disappointed in this book. The topic was right up my alley but the execution just was not it for me.
The first chapter of the book was interesting, but once we switched POV, it became SO slow and I just couldn’t get myself to keep reading. It seemed unrealistic for someone who has been kidnapped, to constantly think about art and her douchebag friends.
The ending was interesting and reminded me ofthe Netflix show ‘You’. .
All in all, I think I probably would’ve loved this book if chapter 2 didn’t exist or if the POV’s alternated over time to give different perspectives.
2.5 stars for this one.
