My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry by Fredrik Backman

4.0

After finishing another one of Backman's books, Awkward People, I realized this book had been sitting on my shelf for almost a year now. Since I had enjoyed Awkward People so much, I immediately started this one.

While I didn't enjoy it quite as much as I enjoyed Awkward People, I still found this one very good. It moved a bit slow at times for me, particularly the parts that revolved around Elsa's imagination, but I still enjoyed it. How it talks about grief and family and being a young child all resonated with me. Overall, I would highly recommend reading this book.
