Everyone This Christmas Has a Secret by Benjamin Stevenson
5.0
Glad to see a novella for a well loved series on the shelves this Christmas. Something that's set in Australia, quick and clever and this was it!
What I liked about it:
-Narrative style. It's funny, breaks the forth wall and is loaded with foreshadowing.
-The Australian Blue Mountain setting and the comment on murders happening when the whether heats up was funny.
-Typical mystery troupes but easier and more enjoyable to read.
-While I definitely pondered who the murder/ers were I mostly was just happy to strap in for the ride.
Whilst the book could have been a little more Christmas-y I overall enjoyed this read and am looking forward to finding out if there are any more reads to come in the series. I suspect there might be something about his wedding to Juliette, a little clue was dropped within the novella I feel...
I purchased my copy from my local QBD books.
