2nd read
I had hopes to reread this story and enjoy it enough to continue. I will say 2nd time around I feel the same feelings, just an interesting love story with deeper layers but even with novellas I as a reader benefit from at least connecting with a character. Maybe not the whole cast but at least one. And this just didn’t provide that. The ending still catches me off guard , maybe it was something inlaid more attention to and so I will read book 2. But if that one doesn’t pick up or catch my interest then I won’t be continuing.
